build your own inspiration By Mastery Mistery I believe happiness and inspiration are very similar, especially in the way one goes about experiencing either. Where happiness is concerned, the trick is to be happy with what you've got, who you are, where you are headed. With inspiration the trick is to look inside: if nothing external to the self is inspiring the self can create inspiration that is just as good. Props help. A quiet space. A beautiful outlook. The right kind of music. Techniques help. Yoga, meditation, affirmation, visualisation: all of the so-called "new age" activities. They work. And you don't even have to believe that they work in order for them to work. In fact you can downright think they are silly and stupid and ineffective---doesn't matter. They still work. At least for me.
